I'm a data-first, sector-agnostic engineer based in Derby, United Kingdom. Currently a Data Analyst delivering end-to-end data and automation systems, progressing toward Data Engineer — deepening Azure data tooling, data modelling, and orchestration.

My experience so far has been gained inside construction and building-services (MEP) — a low-digital, paper-heavy environment where nothing arrives pre-cleaned and nobody is waiting with a well-documented API. I present that as domain evidence, not identity: delivering reliable data infrastructure inside a business that runs on spreadsheets and paper trails demands the same stakeholder management, requirements extraction from non-technical users, and pragmatic engineering under real constraints that any regulated or legacy-heavy sector — fintech, retail, healthcare, the public sector — will ask for.
